Preliminary results of the Friday night, Saturday and the Sunday race, as well as the cumulative results for all races are now available.
The maps have been printed, now it’s time to publish the Final Bulletin.
For the Friday night stage you can borrow a head lamp from the world renowned Czech firm Lucifer. The number of available devices is limited to 5 pieces. Don´t hesitate and order your lamp via e-mail: jan.tojnar@rogaining.cz. The fee 70 CZK per lamp can be paid at the registration desk.

Today I took advantage of a sunny April day (and like you, I hope it wasn’t the last one) and placed the remaining 4 control flags. In accordance with tradition, I’m continuing to accept registrations for the basic entry fee, but I’ll stop taking meal orders tomorrow. The latest pre-race photos have been added to this year’s photo gallery. Among other things, they show that snow is still lingering, either under the branches of fallen spruce trees or on the plain known as “Dachstein”:
We’re planning a party with live music (guitar, accordion, singing…) for Saturday evening; admission is by donation. Since the capacity of the hall is limited (max. 50 people), it is necesary to register in advance using the form. Don’t forget to fill in the estimated beer consumption field so I know how much barrells shall I order :-). Please bring your own half-litre glasses.
This year’s Bloudění will certainly offer unforgettable experiences. I deliberately made several attempts to cross the mountain pine scrub of the Ore Mountains. In some places, it’s perfectly passable, but in others, it swallows you up and won’t let you go for a long time. Here are two examples:
Although there is still snow and ice on the ground, I have started final checking of the event checkpoints. During my run I have discovered a stone-eating beech tree:
